Skyler irene waite update

In footage posted April 29 to YouTube -- entitled " Young woman being arrested for nothing " -- Skyler Irene Waite argues with a pair of officers over a small amount of marijuana they spotted when responding to a Kodiak home for a medical emergency. The minute, second clip shows the officers and Waite become agitated as they quarrel over the drugs, all while reruns of eating challenge reality show "Man v.

Food" play in the background. The scene became physical when Waite, who says she was reaching for the door, brought her arm closer to one of the troopers. As the troopers struggled to handcuff her, Waite repeatedly screamed, "What am I being arrested for? Waite is charged with fourth-degree assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to court records. Sometimes when I see a video it does something to me and I get this urge to say something about it.

Something that needs to be said. Well, when I saw the video of Skyler Waite being arrested , this urge definitely came knocking. Police officers try to have a debate with a girl inside a home, trying to get her to admit she was doing drugs, claiming she is in denial. In other words, she is outsmarting him. A warning before getting physical seems like the proper way to go.

Instead he pushed her unnecessarily hard and rough. She asked why she was arrested. Cop 1 HAS to give her a reason and he knows it, but he also knows he has no valid reason. As they handcuff her and she is demanding to hear the reason which is her right to know , you can pretty much see the wheels spinning in his head as he is trying to think of one. She is entitled to know the reason for her arrest, by law.

She was also not read her rights. And it bugged him. Also, the camera was activated without the police officers knowing about it. I am so very sure, that if he knew he was being filmed, he would not have done this, because he knew damn well they had no grounds to arrest her.

He KNEW it. He did it cause he thought he could get away with it and say she attacked him or something. The second he heard it was being filmed, you could see him thinking to himself how the heck he was going to talk himself out of it, KNOWING he was in the wrong. Cop 1 is the criminal in this case. He had no reason to get physical, no reason for arrest. He knew he had power and he was willing to abuse it cause he thought he could get away with it.

Surely lawyers and prosecutors have morals and ethics? Very ashamed. Another thing. I have no doubts about that. Other cops are seeing this footage. They go online, they know about Youtube, they see these videos. I am absolutely sure there are many cops out there that are good guys.
