Go into 'Settings'. Then into the 'Control Panel'. Look for 'Windows Update' and then find the update for Windows Defender. Simply right-click on it and select 'Hide Update'. Then close it out. It will not ask to be updated. If this 'disable' option is grayed out, then that is normal because McAffee over-rode the Windows Defender.
When you use any anti-virus protection software, they always disable the Windows Defender automatically. You basically have nothing to worry about.
